It is easy to get to 'Eua. Just catch the regular ferry service or the 8 minute flight from Tongatapu Island.

Ferry

Catch the regular ferry service from Nuku'alofa. Typically, ferries:

• to ‘Eua:  leave Queen Salote wharf in Nuku’alofa at 12.30 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
• leave ‘Eua:  early morning on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Approx cost:  TOP$27 one way

Approx time:  2.5 hours

IMPORTANT:

• Ask Jasmine and Fe'ao about the latest ferry schedule, as it is occasionally subject to change.
• If you catch the blue ferry (MV Alaimoana), keep an eye out for Tei. He's the Captain!

Pick Up On 'Eua

Please notify Jasmine and Fe'ao in advance to arrange a pick up from the wharf or the airport. There is a pick up fee of TOP$6 per person from the wharf (as it is 7 kilometres to Taina’s) or TOP$4 per person from the airport.

Sundays

Sunday is a DAY OF REST!  There are NO ferry or plane services on Sundays. You may wish to go to church and enjoy an umu instead!
